Elliot Goldenthal Back Home in NYC
  Composer Elliot Goldenthal recently returned to Manhattan Center to track an orchestral recording for the new film by Julie Taymor, "Across The Universe". The 65 piece orchestra was recorded in our Grand Ballroom. The session was engineered by Joel Iwataki and Teese Gohl produced.

Across the Universe
In addition, 5.1 surround sound mixes for the film's deep score are being performed in our Log Cabin recording studio by Brandon Mason and Joel Iwataki.

 
Mark Berman and The Genesis Project
  Mark Berman chose Studio 7 to mix his most recent album entitled, "The Genesis Project". Mark worked closely alongside mix engineer Rob Hunter from start to finish. Manhattan Center's Eric McMiller assisted the sesssions. Visit Mark's myspace for more details on the project and some notes on the studio sessions.

Duran Duran with Justin Timberlake
  Manhattan Center's Studio 4 was home to one of the most exciting collaborations of the past year. With Duran Duran in NYC recording songs for their newest album, Justin Timberlake came in to contribute vocals. Timbaland produced while Jimmy Douglass engineered and Halsey Quemere assisted.

Fabian Mixes for Cash Money Records in New York
  Mix engineer Fabian and MCP assistant Agim Rugova in our Studio 4 after working into the night to finish a mix for Cash Money Records.

Katie Melua
  Our Congratulations go out to Dramatico Entertainment and recording artist Katie Melua on achieving #11 in the HitQuarters 2006 World Top 100 A&R Chart as well as #3 in the Europe Top 40 A & R Chart. One of Katie's singles "It's Only Pain" was recorded in the Log Cabin recording studio, here at Manhattan Center. Mike Batt produced the session while Steve Sale engineered and Halsey Quemere assisted.


 
Mixing for "Trey Day"
  Atlantic Records recording artist Trey Songz was recently working in our Studio 7 for his upcoming release, "Trey Day". The album's first single "Wonder Woman" has been released on radio and may also be heard on Trey's myspace. Jimmy Douglass was at the helm, mixing the new songs, and Troy Taylor produced. Manhattan Center's Eric McMiller assisted along with Darren S. Moore.

Linda Király in the Studio with MIDI Mafia and Mzmeriq
  Universal Motown artist Linda Király chose the Log Cabin to record new material, here in NYC. With a producition team consisting of Sam Waters and Louis Biancaniello of Mzmeriq as well as Bruce Wayne of MIDI Mafia, Linda is a newly signed artist to watch out for.
 
Scissor Sisters - "Ta-Dah"
  Universal Motown recording artists Scissor Sisters have recently released their latest album, "Ta-Dah". The entire record was mixed in our Studio 7 by engineer Dan Grech-Marguerat and Manhattan Center's Adam Haggar assisted.


 
Stephen Marley and Bonzai
  Stephen Marley was performing double duties (as both producer and recording artist) on his most recent visit to Manhattan Center. Working with his engineer James "Bonzai" Caruso, Stephen has been preparing to release his new album "Mind Control".
 
Ultraviolet Mixes Newest EP
  L.A.-based recording artists Ultraviolet recently mixed their newest EP "Fast, Cheap and Out of Control" here in New York City. Mixing duties were performed by James "Bonzai" Caruso in Manhattan Center's Studio 7.
