All edit suites are not only linked to our Unity Lanshare media storage system for maximum flexibility, but are also directly linked to our television and audio recording studios for immediate retrieval and accessibility of recorded footage. A client will be able to leave the shooting studio and begin rough-editing without waiting for footage to be digitized. Recent clients include Discovery Channel, USA Network, NCB/Universal, FUSE Network (Rainbow Media), MTV, ESPN and College Sports TV. Studio 9 serves as an indispensable resource for any video or audio production originating within this very unique, vertically-integrated, full-service facility.

Avid Symphony Nitris Suite

Our Avid Symphony Nitris suite offers the combination of the Symphony finishing toolset, real-time primary and secondary color correction with real-time uncompressed HD Nitris DNA hardware. The media processing power of Nitris hardware delivers multiple streams of 10-bit uncompressed HD and SD video so clients can see real time effects right away.
The key components of the suite are the Symphony-style color correction and the familiar interface and the power of the Nitris. High-end broadcast, cable net and corporate video producers will be able to take advantage of HD Total Conform to automatically rebuild every rough-cut, effect, title and graphic in HD and deliver 24fps-originated material to multiple formats with incredible ease.

Avid Adrenaline Suite

Our Avid Adrenaline suite offers real-time 10-bit HD-SDI to such varied sources as HDCAM, DVCPRO, D5 decks and cameras. Clients can edit multistream HD with real-time effects, perform real-time SD downconverts and output HD and SD simultaneously.

Clients can combine HD, SD, DV and film formats in the same timeline without rendering, transcoding or re-digitizing in our Adrenaline suite and can go from roughcut to final output without leaving the suite.

Avid Unity Lanshare Media Network

The Avid Unity Lanshare shared storage system provides great performance, configuration flexibility and ease of use for multiple edit suites using the same footage. Projects can be started and finished in any of our edit suites (Symphony Nitris, Adrenaline or Media Composer) with the user-friendly, time-saving flexibility of the Lanshare Unity’s effortless work-flow capabilities.

Media Composer Suites

Our recently upgraded Media Composers set the standard for nonlinear film and video editing solutions throughout the industry, offering faster trim tools, one-step color correction, great image stabilization and real-time animated alpha channels.

Clients can combine HD, SD, DV and film formats and resolutions to achieve the greatest possible editing flexibility in our Media Composers before being taken into our HD Symphony Nitris suite for conforming and color correction.

PROTools Audio Suite

Our new PROTools HD suite offers latest-version 5.1 Surround mixing capabilities. Clients can now mix and sweeten their projects without ever leaving Studio 9.
